Following the Ilmenau (Sept., 2001), Leiden (June, 2003) and Trieste (Sept., 2006) workshops and conferencs, the 2010 “High Rayleigh number convection” edition will be hosted by the “École de Physique des Houches” in the Chamonix - Mont Blanc valley. The next edition could be organised in Hong-Kong.

Topics includes : thermal convection in rotating  flows, ultimate regime in Rayleigh Bénard convection, convection in non Boussinesq flows, low Prandtl and High Rayleigh convective mixing, large scale flows,...
